I am a musician with varied interests.
Aside from composition in the western tradition, I am active as a performer, focusing primarily on contemporary music. I am also a dedicated improvisor, both as a soloist and in ensemble settings.
I have an interest in Armenian and other eastern music, in addition to my interest in alternate tuning systems, various notation systems and ethnomusicology.
My studies in Boston have been extensive and multifaceted. At various times, I have pursued studies at Harvard University, New England Conservatory of Music, the Longy School of Music and The Boston Conservatory.
